Canadian Gem

Moraine Lake, Banff National Park, Canada. The turquoise color that you see is completely natural; the image was not altered in any way. The color is caused by the reflection of light from water that is saturated with "glacial pumice". Glacial pumice is the billions of particles that are suspended in Rocky Mountain Lakes from constant glacial erosion.
